You relapsed. Here is what to do in the next hour
A porn relapse is data, not a verdict. What you do in the hour after a slip decides whether it stays one bad evening or becomes a lost month.
The most dangerous moment in porn recovery is not the relapse itself. It is the hour after it, when the familiar script starts: "I have ruined it. The streak is gone. May as well keep going. I will start again on Monday."
That script turns one slip into a binge, and a binge into a lost month. Interrupting it is a skill, and like any skill it gets easier with practice.
Step one: close the loop
Physically change something right now. Stand up, leave the room, put the device in another room, wash your face. You are not punishing yourself — you are telling your body the session is over. The urge to continue fades much faster once the setting changes.
Step two: name it without drama
Say it plainly: "I had a slip." Not "I failed", not "I am broken". A slip is one event on one evening. In 90 Days you can mark the day as a slip, write one line about what led to it, and your lifetime clean days stay exactly where they were — because you earned them and they are still yours.
Step three: find the trigger
Ask three questions: where was I, what time was it, what was I feeling? Bored, stressed, lonely, tired — the answer is almost always one of a handful. That answer is the single most useful thing the relapse can give you, because it tells you what to prepare for tomorrow.
Step four: do the next small thing
Do not redesign your whole life tonight. Do the next small right thing: sleep, a meal, a short walk. Recovery is not rebuilt in one heroic gesture — it is rebuilt by the next ordinary choice.
